Terms of Use
By downloading or using Nomodoro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App
Nomodoro is a calm focus / pomodoro-style timer with doodle companions, optional nature sounds, session history, and related features (such as widgets and Live Activities, and Focus hours, which uses Apple’s Screen Time to lock apps you choose at times you set). Some system apps cannot be blocked by iOS, and blocking depends on Apple’s Screen Time working as designed. It is a productivity tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment for ADHD or any condition.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Nomodoro on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store terms.
3. Free features & Nomodoro Pro
Unlimited focus sessions, every focus mode (Strict, Loose and Whitelist), one Focus hours window with up to 3 apps, history and charts, and on-device backup export/import are available without payment. Nomodoro Pro may unlock additional features, which can include (and may change over time): more Focus hours (more windows, chosen days, unlimited apps and whole categories), a squad of custom slimes, more nature sounds, custom short/long breaks and focus rounds, and exclusive Friends companions (while other companions still require in-app gems from completed focus). Feature availability is described in the App and may be updated with App releases.
4. Purchases & subscriptions
Nomodoro may offer:
- Auto-renewable subscriptions (for example monthly and yearly Nomodoro Pro)
- A one-time lifetime Nomodoro Pro unlock (non-consumable)
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase through Apple’s App Store / StoreKit. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore purchases on another device signed in with the same Apple ID using the App’s Restore control where available. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.
Free trial. Some subscriptions (for example Nomodoro Pro Yearly) may start with a free trial, shown in the App before you confirm. Each Apple ID can use an introductory offer once. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and the price shown is charged to your Apple ID. If you cancel during the trial, you keep Pro until the trial ends. The App can remind you with a local notification 2 days before the trial ends, if notifications are on.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the App, reverse engineer it except where allowed by law, or attempt to bypass purchase or entitlement checks unlawfully.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Privacy
Use of Nomodoro is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we revise them.
