Privacy Policy

Layerly (iOS) · Effective date: August 14, 2026 · Last updated: August 20, 2026

Layerly (“we”, “us”, “the App”) is a skincare routine companion. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used. By using Layerly, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Layerly is provided as a consumer iOS application (bundle ID com.tnson.layerly). For privacy questions, contact: tnson@bwaco.vn or open an issue on GitHub.

2. Information the App stores

Layerly is designed to keep your routine data primarily on your device. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

Photos and product data are stored in the App’s local storage / Application Support on your device (and in any backup destination you explicitly choose).

3. Face data and progress check-in photos

If you choose to take or select an optional daily “progress” / glow check-in photo, that image may include your face. Layerly treats these images as user-provided photos for your personal timeline only.

4. Permissions

5. Purchases

Optional Layerly Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit / your Apple ID. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy terms also apply to purchase processing.

6. Analytics, advertising, and selling data

Layerly does not sell your personal information. The App is not built around third-party advertising SDKs. We do not operate a separate Layerly account server that collects your shelf or progress photos for marketing.

7. Children

Layerly is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the App if you are under the applicable age.

8. Data retention and deletion

Data remains on your device until you delete it in-app (for example archiving/removing products or replacing progress photos), clear App data, or delete the App. Exported backup files remain wherever you saved them until you delete those files. See also Section 3 for face / progress photo retention and deletion.

9. International users

Because data is primarily on-device, processing generally occurs on your iPhone. If you export backups to cloud services you control (for example iCloud), those providers’ terms also apply.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
